PRODUCTS INFORMATION

Woven labels are the most popular way of having your brand identity displayed on your garment or products. The individual stitches give a more long-lasting look. It’s a premium choice and one that oozes class onto any garment.

MATERIALS

TAFFETA

Taffeta is the most economical option. The weave is adequate but the ground color is a bit transparent. Taffeta tends to be scratchy so it is not recommended if the label will be touching the skin.

If you're looking for an inexpensive label, this option is great for going on hats, scarves, bags, or for care labels that will be cut off.

SATIN

For labels that are soft but has a shiny look, satin labels would be a good choice. Most customer go with this option because of the look they are looking for.

Satin labels are great for infant and lingerie apparel, or brands with a vintage look. Keep in mind the background is limited to only white, off-white, and black. If your logo is very detailed & small, this may not be the best option for you.

HIGH DEFINITION - DAMASK

Damask is the choice for elaborate details to promote your brand name. Typically considered high end and used for intricate details, such as signatures or small text.

Damask is a thinner thread then other woven fabric labels, often referred to as Denier Density. Lower the denier, better the quality, but also higher the cost.

APPLICATION METHOD

IRON-ON

These labels are perfect for those who don’t sew very well or for those who don’t have a lot of time to spare for sewing on their labels. Iron on labels can be quickly applied and are a lot more durable than they used to be. These labels are also very versatile and work well with most types of fabric.

The time and supplies required to attach iron-on labels is typically lower than those required for sew-in labels. While you do need to know how to iron safely, most people own an iron. Many people don’t own a sewing machine, however, and if they don’t, they may not have the time to sew in each label.

-  Since iron-on labels bond almost permanently with the cloth they are attached to, they will last through many washes without peeling off.

SEW-ON

These labels are quite versatile as well, and unlike iron on labels, sew-on labels can be used on any type of fabric. Where irons would burn silk, thread does not making these the only option for more delicate fabrics.

These labels can be attached to any type of cloth, no matter how delicate or heat sensitive it is. They can be easily taken off if your goal is to attach a less permanent label, or they can be kept for the lifespan of the garment since the thread won’t deteriorate unless you don’t tie it well.

These labels can be attached with great speed if you have access to a sewing machine and can be attached to almost any part of your garment, as long as you are familiar with how your machine works.

CUT & FOLD OPTIONS

NO FOLD - STRAIGHT CUT

Label is cut and edges are heat sealed.

END FOLD (LEFT+RIGHT)

Label is folded down on the left and right side. This option is most suitable for sewing in neck labels.

END FOLD (TOP+BOTTON)

Label is folded down on the top and bottom side.

HANGER LOOP

The ends are folded under and up, creating a tab to be sewn into the seam.

CENTER FOLD

Label is folded in the middle and usually sewn into a seam.

CUSTOM SHAPE

Laser cut is used to shape the labels to any form you desire.
