Who are you?

The real problem with your current supplier

You are probably not dealing with a factory. You are dealing with someone who deals with a factory. When something goes wrong — a late shipment, a sampling delay — your contact has to check with someone else before they can answer. At Labeloom you speak directly to the people running the looms. In English, Mandarin, Cantonese, or Italian.

The real problem with your current supply chain

When you source through intermediaries, you cannot fully audit what you cannot see. Compliance documentation is only as reliable as the factory that issued it — and if you don't know which factory that is, you are trusting a piece of paper from someone you've never met. At Labeloom the certifications are ours, the factory is ours, and you can visit it.

What actually goes wrong

Supplier fails a retailer compliance audit, delaying your entire approval
Sustainability documentation is vague or unverifiable
Managing multiple trim vendors adds overhead and risk
You don't know who actually made the product you're responsible for

What Labeloom offers you

OEKO-TEX Class 1, GRS chain-of-custody, SMETA — retailer-ready documentation
One supplier for labels, patches, printed labels and hangtags
Transparent cost structure — no hidden intermediary margin
Full supply chain visibility — audit the factory, not just the paperwork

The real problem with your current supplier

You are scaling fast and your label supplier is not built for where you are going. Somewhere in the chain, someone is taking margin you don't need to pay. And when you need compliance documentation to get into premium retailers, your current supplier can't provide it — because they don't actually make anything. At Labeloom you access the same factory used by established fashion brands, from your first serious volume order, with no agent in between.

What actually goes wrong

Paying 30–50% agent markup without knowing it
Supplier can't provide compliance docs premium retailers require
Late deliveries disrupting your launch timeline
No visibility into production status until it ships

01

The problem with how most brands source their labels

Most brands sourcing garment trims at volume have never spoken to the factory that makes them. They deal with a trading company, a sourcing agent, or a label distributor — someone who manages the relationship with the actual manufacturer on their behalf. That arrangement adds 30 to 60 percent to the factory cost. It also adds a communication layer that makes every problem slower to resolve: a late shipment, a spec question, a sampling revision that needs to happen in 24 hours.

The deeper problem is accountability. When you do not know who makes your labels, you cannot hold anyone to a standard. The agent can only tell you what the factory told them. By the time that information reaches you, it is already filtered, delayed, and occasionally optimistic.

Labeloom removes that layer entirely. We have operated our own production facility in Hong Kong since 1996 — over 60 Jacquard weaving lines, Swiss ultrasonic cutting equipment, and in-house flexographic printing. When you place a volume order with us, you communicate directly with the production team. You know the facility, you can visit it, and the certifications are ours — not forwarded from an unnamed third party.

What wholesale buyers actually need — and what gets in the way

After nearly three decades supplying fashion brands and retailers, the friction points are consistent across buyers at every scale. Price matters — but it is rarely the only thing that matters, and it is almost never the reason a relationship breaks down.

Delivery reliability is the first concern. A label order arriving two weeks late does not just delay a shipment — it can hold up an entire production run, miss a retail window, and create downstream costs that dwarf the value of the order itself. Our dedicated production scheduling for approved customers means your order has a confirmed slot, not a position in a general queue. For repeat customers with locked-in specifications, standard lead time is 10 working days.

Sample development speed is the second. The qualification process for a new label — from first artwork submission to approved production sample — can take weeks at factories working through intermediaries. At Labeloom, a sample photo is available within 4 business days of order placement. Physical samples are available on request. The initial qualification process takes longer than a repeat order — every detail matters, from thread tension to letter spacing — but it happens in direct dialogue with the production team, not through a chain of emails.

Transparent quotation is the third. Our online configurator provides instant pricing for any specification at any quantity. For standard orders, there is no waiting for a quote to travel up a chain of contacts. For bespoke requirements or orders above 20,000 pieces, we respond within one business day.

03

Products and technical specifications for volume production

We produce four core product categories for wholesale buyers, in order of volume and strategic importance:

Woven labels are our primary product and the area where our technical depth is greatest. HD Damask (50-denier and 100-denier Jacquard), Taffeta, Satin, Iron-on, and Shuttle Loom — the full range of weave types with up to 12 Pantone-matched thread colours per label. Fold styles including centre fold, end fold (top/bottom and left/right), mitre fold, Manhattan fold, hanger loop, book cover fold, and custom laser-cut shapes. Backing options: plain sew-on, heat-seal iron-on, peel-and-stick adhesive. Shuttle loom labels with selvedge edge available from 2,000 pieces.

Woven patches produced on the same Jacquard loom infrastructure as woven labels, with the added structural depth required for external garment application. Merrowed (stitched) borders or laser-cut edges. Sew-on, iron-on, or velcro backing. Custom die-cut shapes in any geometry definable as a vector file.

Printed labels using flexographic ink on satin, cotton, polyester, and Tyvek substrates. Care symbols to GINETEX standard, fibre content, country of origin, barcodes, and QR codes. For brands exporting to multiple markets, we produce compliance variant sets within a single order.

Embroidered patches for applications where raised texture and tactile depth are required. Up to 15 thread colours including metallic gold and silver. We consider embroidery the most technically complex of our patch categories — design translation, digitisation, and thread selection require more qualification time than woven products, and we recommend budget accordingly for initial development.

04

Certifications, compliance, and supply chain transparency

For brands supplying major retailers or exporting to regulated markets, certification documentation is not optional — and it is only as useful as the factory that issued it. At Labeloom, all certifications are held directly by our production facility. When you receive our documentation, you know exactly where it comes from.

OEKO-TEX Standard 100 — Product Class 1 is the highest classification available, covering textiles in direct contact with infant skin. It tests for over 100 potentially harmful substances including formaldehyde, heavy metals, and allergenic dyes. Independently tested and renewed annually. Full certificate documentation — including certifying institute and renewal date — is available for your compliance records and retailer requirements.

Global Recycled Standard (GRS) certification covers our production of woven labels using 100% recycled post-consumer polyester (rPET). Full chain-of-custody documentation is available for sustainability reporting to retailer programmes including those operated by H&M Group, Inditex, and similar.

SMETA audit (Sedex Members Ethical Trade Audit) covers ethical and responsible business practices across our production facility. Documentation available on request.

For brands with specific retailer compliance requirements — technical packs, restricted substance lists, audit formats — contact us before ordering. We confirm compliance before production begins, not after.

05

Volume pricing structure

Our pricing scales significantly with volume. As a reference for HD Woven Labels at a standard 2 inch by 1 inch straight cut specification:

1,000 pieces: from $0.12 per label — 5,000 pieces: from $0.10 per label — 10,000 pieces: contact us for programme pricing — 50,000 pieces and above: dedicated account management and production scheduling

The per-unit economics improve substantially at volume, and for ongoing seasonal programmes with reserved production capacity, we offer standing order agreements that lock in pricing and scheduling across multiple runs.

For context on the factory-direct saving: a label at $0.12 per piece direct from our facility would typically reach a brand through a well-regarded agent at $0.18 to $0.22. At 100,000 pieces per season, that difference is $6,000 to $10,000 — before accounting for faster communication and eliminated middleman delays.

Use our online configurator for an instant price on your specific dimensions, weave type, fold style, and quantity. For orders above 20,000 pieces or ongoing programme requirements, contact us directly.

Frequently Asked Questions

Volume pricing begins at 1,000 pieces for most products. The configurator provides instant pricing at any quantity from 50 pieces upward. The per-unit cost drops significantly between 1,000 and 5,000 pieces, and again between 5,000 and 10,000 pieces.
The initial development process — from first artwork submission to approved production sample — varies by product complexity. For a standard woven label, a sample photo is available within 4 business days. Physical samples take longer. Every detail matters during qualification: thread tension, letter spacing, colour matching. We do not rush this step, because a label approved too quickly is a label that creates problems at scale. Once a specification is locked in, repeat orders run at 10 working days.
Yes. We offer standing production agreements for brands with regular repeat requirements. Your artwork and specification are stored on file, production capacity is reserved in advance, and reorders reproduce to exact previous specification without re-submission. For seasonal programmes, we work with your production calendar to schedule runs in advance.
We hold OEKO-TEX Standard 100 Product Class 1, Global Recycled Standard (GRS) with full chain-of-custody documentation, and SMETA audit documentation. All certifications are held directly by our production facility — not forwarded from a third-party factory. For specific retailer compliance requirements, contact us with your technical pack before ordering.
English, Mandarin, Cantonese, and Italian. You communicate directly with the factory — there is no account manager or agent relaying your messages to a production team you will never speak to.
Contact us directly via WhatsApp at +852 6010 0351 or email info@labeloom.com with your product type, quantity, dimensions, fold style, and any specific technical or compliance requirements. We respond within one business day with pricing and production scheduling.
Yes. Orders for woven labels, woven patches, printed labels, and hangtags placed together are shipped consolidated where possible, reducing per-shipment logistics costs and simplifying your receiving process.
We are the factory. We directly manufacture woven labels and patches and we have factories in our same industrial complex that helps us fill printed labels as well as embroidered patches'orders. We do the same for them with their woven's orders. You can visit our facilities at any time.
