Woven Labels
A label inside a hat sits against the forehead every time it is worn. It is in more direct, prolonged skin contact than almost any other garment label. Softness is not optional — it is the specification.

HD Damask with end-fold construction is the standard specification for sweatband and crown labels in headwear. The 50-denier yarn produces a fine, flat surface. The folded construction tucks raw edges out of contact with skin. OEKO-TEX Standard 100 Product Class 1 certified — independently tested for prolonged skin contact. No scratching, no irritation, no labels being cut out.
Crown labels sit at the centre back of the lining — the primary brand label. Sweatband labels sit on the inner band against the forehead — softness critical. Size tabs sit alongside the sweatband label. All three are available in a single order, colour-matched to the same Pantone references and shipped together. If you also need exterior patches for the front panel, we produce those from the same factory.
Custom woven labels for hats are used by headwear brands, streetwear labels, sports teams, outdoor and workwear brands, and independent makers selling through Etsy or at markets. Snapbacks, dad hats, beanies, bucket hats, and fitted caps all use the same basic label placement — crown label at the back lining, sweatband label facing the forehead. Brands ordering for the first time typically need all three label types together: a crown label with the logo, a sweatband label with brand name and size, and a size tab. Ordering them as a set from one supplier ensures consistent Pantone colour matching across all three, which matters when they are visible together inside the hat. If you are also branding the exterior of the hat with a front panel patch or woven badge, we produce those as well →
