Custom Faux Leather Patches

Faux leather patches are brand labels made from high-quality synthetic PU (polyurethane) material, designed to closely replicate the texture, weight and visual appearance of genuine leather without using animal products. They are finished using the same techniques as real leather patches — including debossing, laser etching and foil stamping — and are the preferred choice for vegan, cruelty-free and ethically conscious fashion brands.

Both options deliver a premium aesthetic, but differ in material origin, aging behaviour and consistency:

• Faux leather patches: Vegan and cruelty-free, consistent colour and texture across production runs, more affordable at volume, does not develop a patina over time
• Genuine leather patches: Animal hide, develops a unique patina with wear and age, unmatched tactile character, preferred by heritage and luxury brands

For brands where animal-free credentials are a core value or where colour consistency across large orders is critical, faux leather patches are the better choice.

Our custom faux leather patches are available with three finishing techniques:

• Debossing: The design is pressed into the surface creating a recessed impression — the most classic and widely used finish for leather-style patches
• Laser etching: A laser burns the design into the surface with exceptional precision — ideal for fine detail, small text and complex artwork
• Foil stamping: Metallic or holographic foil applied under heat and pressure — adds a premium, eye-catching finish in gold, silver or custom colours

Our faux leather patches are available with three attachment methods:

• Sew-on: Stitched directly onto the garment — the most durable option, suitable for all fabric types
• Iron-on: Heat-activated adhesive for quick application without sewing — suitable for cotton, denim, polyester and canvas
• Velcro: Hook-and-loop backing for removable and interchangeable applications — popular for bags, uniforms and accessories

Yes. Our faux leather patches are designed to withstand regular washing and maintain their appearance over time:

• Machine washable at up to 40°C
• Turn garment inside out to protect the patch surface during washing
• Avoid tumble drying on high heat
• Do not dry clean or use bleach

Unlike genuine leather, faux leather patches do not require conditioning and will not stiffen or crack with normal washing and wear.

Yes — faux leather patches are specifically designed for brands with vegan, cruelty-free or animal-free positioning. Our PU faux leather contains no animal-derived materials at any stage of production. • Custom die-cut: Any outline following your logo or brand mark at no additional charge
• Size range: Typically 3cm to 15cm — larger formats available on request
